Akashic Records and the Need for Self-Preparation

The Akashic Records are a collection of energy imprints—the very chronicles of every thought, emotion, deed, event, and experience that has ever transpired, which are inscribed on the subtle substance referred to as ether or “akasha”. The Records have been existing for a long period of time; some people say that it has begun to thrive ever since the beginning, or the Creation. These record all aspects of physical existence of humans that have graced the physical realms—within time and space— and beyond.

According to Rudolf Steiner, a renowned psychic from Austria, we can only perceive the Akashic Chronicles through the spiritual world or plane, just as several people believe so.  Once we have become accustomed and adept in perceiving and accessing the said etheric records, the duality of our existence becomes clear and evident. In this case, we will no longer be trapped in the constraints of our mere physical realities; we can already perceive both physical and spiritual realities as they unfold. We become aware of the spiritual aspect of our existence – not as a “supernatural” phenomenon that is alienated from our being, but as a natural part of our lives.

The chronicles are a repository of information regarding the past and present aspects of each individual’s life, along with the future potentials. Despite the fact that it merely exists within the spiritual or ethereal realm, humans, as both spiritual and physical entities, fortunately have the divine birthmark to access each of our own unique Akashic Records. Furthermore, the said chronicles can also be accessed from everywhere, similar to how DNA can also be accessed from every part of each of our own bodies. These elements of the Akashic Records indicate that being an inborn psychic—someone who sees beyond the three-dimensional physical world— is not a requirement in order to access the Akashic Records; still, this is not to discount the necessary aid of psychics and hypnotherapists to help us enter a state of trance, and become more successful in the aim of entering the “Hall of Records”.

Preparing the Self for the Journey towards Akashic Records

As earlier stated, our personal endeavours of journeying towards tapping, accessing, and reading the Akashic Records are not undertaken via physical means. The need for an “ethereal journey” usually serves as a hindrance for many of us who are yet to try accessing the Records, precisely because we still have not reconciled with our true nature as spiritual entities. Furthermore, we have been too accustomed to our physical, tangible realm. Regardless, “no special gifts” or “magical methods” are required in order to successfully enter the spiritual realm—anyone can do it— although some people such as psychics and intuitive readers may have cultivated a higher level of adeptness than many of us.

There are numerous ways that we can use to access the Records, including meditation, prayer, hypnosis being able to induce out of body experiences, asking guidance from professional readers and psychics, and several others. However, while these methods are potentially effective in enabling us to enter the “Hall of Records” via the ethereal plane— these are merely tools that, on their own, cannot work. The point is: Active participation is a requirement. We cannot be passive during sessions, we have to work hard and commit to the possibly strenuous and long process of accessing the etheric records. Most importantly, we must first cultivate the right attitudes in order succeed in our quest for self-discovery—towards acquiring the priceless information inscribed on the “akasha”.

The following lists down some of the important preparations that can further heighten our “natural” capacity, before any actual attempt at accessing the Akashic Records:

• As spiritual entities that have come from the Source or the Divine, we must have complete faith. Each and every one of us must have no room for doubt in our natural ability to access and read the Akashic Records. Although the rate of learning and mastering the process will vary from one person to another—the point is to bear in mind that we are all spiritual entities, and are thus designed to be capable of this venture.
  
  
• The operative word is “process”. Venturing on a journey towards finally accessing and reading the Akashic Records entails that we accept that the journey is not a smooth and easy transfer from point A to point B. Reading and interpreting the Records translate to a rigid spiritual discipline—it can be mastered, just like any discipline; but it will not let itself be tamed overnight. With the word “process” in mind, we will be more likely to commit to the whole journey despite ups and downs, or various trials and errors. We will not be quick to give up.
  
  
• For those of us who have a nature of being skeptical, but are very much willing to enter the spiritual plane and access the Records— it will help to restrain the knee-jerk skepticism that they have been accustomed to have. The certain level of restraint must be particularly applied when approaching the “spiritual possibilities”. Skepticism can serve as blinders, and it is healthy to put the blinders aside for a while.
  
  
• If we are more “open-minded” individuals, we must still be willing to further open our minds. The physical plane largely differs from the spiritual, so we must be willing to make the “necessary adjustments”. We must prepare ourselves in unlearning our pre-conceived notions and concepts that have been tied, and are only applicable, to the physical world. Letting go of our material beliefs, albeit on a gradual course, will simultaneously mean being truer to our nature and becoming more vulnerable to entering the spiritual plane.
  
  
• Again, despite possible errors and other impediments that may emerge along the way: Do not quickly give up. Be willing to revive the flame of pursuit.

Endless Possibilities to Become a Better “Self” amidst the Physical World

Having a good intention while accessing, reading, and understanding the information contained within the Akashic Records can open up to boundless possibilities. Apart from being familiar and at ease with the transpiring physical and spiritual events, apart from being closer to our true nature as spiritual entities—The Akashic Records, ultimately, can provide us insights into our life mission, our past, and our future potentials. These insights can have a positive and practical effect on how we can fully enhance our lives as we traverse the physical realms, and fully experience the beauty of what it has to offer.

Indeed, the journey towards the Akashic Records is a fulfilling journey towards self-discovery—towards a better “self”.
